How Our Network Works
Who Answers Your Call
You talk to a provider. Not to Featuringglobe Garage Doors staff doing repairs. Providers in our network are independent local businesses. They run their own schedules, set their own prices and do their own work.
That means each provider is different. Hours vary. Pricing varies. Skills vary a little too. So ask questions early.
What They Will Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. Have the answers ready.
- What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or fully down?
- How old is it?
- Is it a single or double door?
- Did anything hit it, or did a storm pass through?
- Do you have photos?
Photos first, please. They help a provider guess the parts and the time needed.
Questions to Ask a Provider
Keep this list handy. Ask before the visit, not after.
- Do you charge a fee just to come out? Is it applied to the job?
- What is the price range for this problem?
- Will you give me a written quote before work starts?
- Is the work under a warranty? What does it cover, and for how long?
- Do you hold any license my area requires?
- Can you check track alignment and spring balance while you are here?
Get it in writing. A spoken price is easy to forget.
Spot a Weak Quote
Be careful if a quote is vague. Watch for one lump sum with no parts listed. Watch for pressure to decide on the spot. A good provider can explain each line.
The Decision Is Yours
A visit does not mean you must hire anyone. You can compare quotes. You can say no. You can ask for a second opinion. Featuringglobe Garage Doors does not push you to say yes.
If the job involves damage from a storm or a break-in, take pictures and keep notes. Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
